(There is something going on here between Castillo's super-saturated-almost-fluorescent-in-spots color palette versus the extremely delicate touch with which some of the paint is being handled. Several of these paintings are haunting.)

Thanks for visiting the Crossroads show!! Did you hear Richmond Craft Mafia will have permenant space at Crossroads now? Smaller than the throwndown gallery, but an excellent spot for handmade gifts. Real Small Art League's pals LostCats (www.lostcatsproject.wordpress.com) is keeping busy this fall while I'm tackling other projects :)
