Art and Social Change Panel Discussion Tonight
Tonight from 5:30- 7 PM check out a talk featuring local artists discussing "philosophical and practical approaches to effecting social change through creativity."
Participating artists include:
* Daniel José Custódio, poet, founder of Slam Nahuatl, community activist
* Patricia Herrera, co-founder of the Rubí Theater Company, member of UR theatre faculty
* William Ashanti Hobbs, III, author of the novel Worthy, member of VSU English and creative writing faculty
* Adria Hoffman, former K-12 music teacher, member of University of Southern Mississippi music faculty
* Noah Scalin, founder of Another Limited Rebellion: Socially Conscious Design and Consulting, member of VCU art faculty
* Tanja Softic, creator of mixed-media project, Migrant Universe, member of UR art faculty
