"Shockoe Wide Open"- new RVA Art Walk!

"Complete Fiction! New paintings by Tim Harriss" at Eric Schindler Gallery will be just one of the art openings featured during the first Shockoe Wide Open.

Richmond's art calendar just gets more and more jam-packed! Sounds like "Shockoe Wide Open" will be a destination for second Fridays, as several businesses in Shockoe Slip and Shockoe Bottom are teaming up to create an evening of art, food, and more good stuff with their first time out of the gate happening this Friday, May 14th.

There are quite a few openings to check out during this event, including Brett Busang at Frame Nation and Tim Harriss at Eric Schindler Gallery (there're more openings than we've noted here).

Learn more details at Shockoe Wide Open's facebook page- they've got info about art openings and more at galleries and restaurants, and links to recent press coverage of the event as well.
