This Friday: Manchester openings at Plant Zero


This Friday at Plant Zero, opening receptions for Leigh Anne Chambers' "Unheimlich", Gary Cawood's "Excavation", Jessica Burke's and Jessica Sims's "Vintage Vices", and the Artspace members' exhibition will be held from 7-10 PM at Artspace.



At Art Works, receptions for "A Photographic Pilgrimage: Travels with my Camera and Cane" by Elisabeth Flynn-Chapman, Kathy Yost Benham's "Passing", "Recent Works" by Mark Shively, Terry Lynn Smith's "Art of Survival," Sheila Thomas's "Stop Motion Animation Meets Traditional Art," and the September All Media Show will be held from 7- 10 PM.



And at Russell/Projects, there will be a Fourth Friday reception for Priscila De Carvalho's exhibition, "Slick" from 7- 10 PM.

This Thursday at VisArts: Luck of the Draw II


Ann Bradshaw's "Wildly Unexpected," a 24" x 32" photograph will be up for grabs during a special Luck of the Draw II raffle.

Talk20 next NEXT Tuesday, Sept. 28th

Talk 20 is not a lecture but a gathering, an open forum for the dissemination of ideas in art, architecture and design. Produced in cities around the world, 1708 Gallery together with C3: the Creative Change Center, are the organizers of Talk 20 in Richmond. Presenters will have up to 20 slides and 20 seconds for each slide, to talk about their work.

Please join us for the next Talk 20 on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is free, open to the public and will include food and a cash bar. Please register for the event HERE.
